We offer competitive and affordable rates. We make sure that our charges are clearly explained to you at the outset of your case. We are happy to discuss a range of funding options and in most cases, we charge a fixed fee (please create a link).
Fixed Fees
At the outset of your case, we will assess the complexity of your application and agree a fixed fee charge that does not include disbursements. In some circumstances we can offer a reduction on the fee and in other cases, that are more complex, the fee might be higher. A full case specific estimate will be provided to you at the outset of your case and can also be obtained by contacting us. Should the estimate change during the course of your case, you will be informed immediately, and the additional cost will be discussed and agreed with you.
Disbursements.
Disbursements are costs that are payable to third parties and include such payments as Home Office fees for making the application or appeal fees payable to the Tribunal, Disbursements can also be interpreter’s fees and fees for expert reports. These additional disbursements are not included in our fixed fee. We will discuss with you in advance whether any disbursements would be necessary and beneficial to your case and how much cost you may have to incur.
If we represent you in relation to an appeal hearing, it may become necessary to instruct a barrister (counsel) to represent you at the hearing. We will instruct high quality counsel on your behalf. The cost of counsel will depend on their experience. We will discuss with you the options and offer you a range of experience and price. Costs for counsel is likely to be in the range of £750-£2,000 plus VAT, if payable.
Hourly rate Cases
In some circumstances we may agree to charge for our services at an hourly rate. Our hourly rates will vary between £150-£350 depending on the complexity of the case and the experience of the fee earner preparing the case – usually it will be £350 per hour for senior solicitor, £250 per hour for assistant solicitor, £200 per hour for senior caseworker and £150 per hour for trainee and caseworker.
The average length of time to prepare an application to be made to the Home Office is between 5-20 hours. This means that on average, if paying at an hourly rate, our costs would be between £740 and £7,000.
The exact number of hours it will take depends on the circumstances in your case. Such as:

The amount of supporting evidence that we need to collate -
Whether you are applying with other dependants -
The level of contact the case requires with yourself and the number of enquiries you have during the course of your case
If you can provide us with adequate instructions and supporting documents at our first meeting and clearly meet the applicable Immigration Rules, the cost is likely to be lower.
Please note the anticipated number of hours and fees are an estimate. All applications are fact specific, and we can give you a more accurate estimate once we have more information about your case. Also, if during your case it becomes apparent that the matter is more complex than we originally estimated, we will inform you immediately and explain to you why our agreed fee may have to increase.
