Company formation and governance

The fees that we charge for our commercial law services depend on the size of the transaction and the complexity of the matter.

Basic Company Formation

1. Standard Limited Company: £100 – £500 for basic services (including Articles of Association and registration with Companies House).

Complex Company Formation (e.g., including custom Articles or Shareholder Agreements):

1. £500 – £1,500 or more, depending on customization.

Ongoing Governance Services:

1. Company Secretary Services: £300 – £1,000 per year
2. Corporate Governance Advice: £150 – £500 per hour
3. Shareholder/Director Agreements: £500 – £2,500
4. Filing Special Resolutions/Changes: £50 – £200 per filing

Annual Confirmation Statement:

1. £50 – £150 for preparation and filing.

Contracts and Agreements

Basic Contracts (e.g., standard employment or service agreements):

1. £150 – £500 for drafting or reviewing.

Complex Agreements (e.g., commercial, intellectual property, partnership agreements):

1. £500 – £5,000, depending on the complexity and length.

Hourly Rates for Ongoing Contract Work:

1. £150 – £500 per hour, depending on the solicitor’s expertise and the work involved.

Contract Review:

1. £100 – £500 for a basic review.
2. £500 – £2,000 for a more detailed or complex review.

Dispute Resolution and litigation

1. Initial Consultation: £100 – £300 (for up to 1 hour).
2. Hourly Rates: £120 – £450 per hour (depending on the solicitor’s expertise).
3. Mediation Fees: £500 – £3,000 (for a single session).
4. Debt Recovery (Small Claims): £500 – £2,000.
5. High Court Dispute (complex cases): £20,000 – £50,000+.

Note: All the above fees are excluding of VAT and disbursement.
